1) Not checking whether the class live or pre-recorded
Live is 10x better! Pre-recorded sessions don’t give you the ability to ask questions and discuss concepts. The interactivity of a live class makes the material more engaging, easier to understand and more relevant to you.

2) Choosing an unqualified instructor
Course offerings that don’t promote the instructor are trying to hide something. Make sure you know your instructor is a certified Scrum or Agile instructor and read the reviews of those who have taken the class. Then you can be confident you’ll get the most out of a class.

3)
Failing to check whether the class is guaranteed to run
Many online classes will cancel if they don’t sign up a minimum number of attendees – leaving you high and dry. Make sure your class is guaranteed to run.

4) Getting an instructor whose language is not what you expected
With so many courses being offered online, your instructor could be anywhere in the world and could speak many languages. It’s important to verify that you are getting content delivery in the language you are expecting.

5) Assuming the class time is in your time zone
Make sure you don’t have to start the class at 2am because the instructor is several time zones away.
